Apple iPad 3, iPhone 5, new Mac models set for release in 2012

Apple is going to keep its fans happy with the release of new products including iPad 3, iPhone 5, new Mac models besides several other products in the year 2012
Every new year brings smiles on Apple fans. This is because every new year has a number of great products in store that Apple launches throughout the year. This year is going to be no different. It will in fact be better than last year in many respects.
In the year 2011 many Apple fans were expecting an absolutely new iPhone 5. Though they got a great phone in the form of iPhone 4S, but despite all its great features, its design was the same that had come with iPhone 4. So notwithstanding improvements in specifications, they were a little disappointed.
But the year 2012 is certainly going to be a lot better for millions of Apple fans across the world than the last year. Apple in 2012 will certainly be launching a number of new and upgraded products that will attract customers from across the world. They are very excited about the chances in the mainland China that has emerged as the next best thing to Apple, where sales of iPad, iPhones and Macs has increased manifolds.
iPad 3
One thing that is being awaited most impatiently is iPad 3. Apple is going to release its third generation iPad probably in March as per reports from Digitimes. An earlier report from Gardner had predicted that the tablet from Apple will be released in February. Though this is not confirmed, report suggests that iPad tablet will actually be introduced in March. Reports suggest that the iPad 3 would support a screen with double the resolution of the iPad 2, effectively a Retina Display, upgrading the iPad’s graphics to the sharpness levels of iPhone 4 and 4S. It also stated that Apple’s final iPad sales tally for the fourth quarter of this year would be between 12 and 13 million units. iPad 3′s production schedule has ignited many rumours. One of them states that Sharp and Samsung have already begun shipping Retina Displays to manufacturers in Asia along with other companies that are shipping in various components for the iPad 3. Many have suggested great tech upgradation in the next generation iPad. According to rumors, this next version of iPad will seriously pack a punch with its A6 quad core processor, integrated Siri personal assistant and a better camera system. But the definitive element would surely be the whopping 1536 x 2048 pixels, 330-dpi Retina screen, as compared to its previously paltry 1024 x 768 pixels, 132-dpi resolution iPad 2 display.
iPhone 5
Apple iPhone 5 is going to be another much anticipated product from Apple. besides design changes the new iPhone will come with host of new features and improved specifications. This includes an A6 processor (possibly with a more powerful quad core set up), an ergonomic and even sleeker design, with a larger display. Finally, the wish list should be complete with LTE support and NFC features.
A report suggests that unlike the iPhone 4S, it’ll be a completely new design from what has gone before, so that means an entirely new casing as we saw with the iPhone 3G and, later, the iPhone 4. Based on the roadmap of mobile chip design specialist ARM (of which Apple is a licensee), we’ll see a quad-core processor debut in the iPhone 5 – probably called the Apple A6. We know that we’ll see other quad core handsets debut in 2012, so it’s not too much of a stretch to say that the iPhone 5 will be the same. Many reports have suggested the new smart phone will be 4G LTE.
Then there are reports of great improvements in the Apple TV. The chances for that elusive iTV are bright, but the scope of improvement for these ‘media receivers’ (along with brand new TV sets) is still a subject to conjecture. Maybe, the designers can contrive an innovative system that will include a wealth of features like a full App Store, iCloud support and even Siri related attributes.
Several new Mac models will be launched in the new year. Reports suggest that Apple will launch refreshed models of the popular MacBook Air laptop in the first quarter of 2012, including a new 15-inch model, according to a Digitimes report. The Digitimes report says Apple has planned new MacBook Air notebooks with panel sizes of 11.6, 13.3 and 15 inches, but only cites unnamed sources from the Apple manufacturing supply chain. (Digitimes has a hit-and-miss record with Apple manufacturing news.) Apple does not currently offer a 15-inch MacBook Air, but it does offer a 15-inch MacBook Pro, so an eventual 15-inch option on the Air is a reasonable guess.
In the previous year, Apple didn’t give much attention to Mac. But now it is the time to do exactly that. Now experts say that they do see a righteous trend of Apple going for more classy, subtle and slimmer models, when it comes to laptop computing. As a matter of fact, if MacBook Air Pro is anything to go by, we can come across an even more svelte design consideration for a newer Mac of 2012.
Then there are other products from Apple that are set for overhaul this include a successor to Mac OS X Lion in the months ahead. Lion was a much anticipated follow up to the Snow Leopard platform. In relation to this, Apple is known for capitalizing on its success, and thus we can actually look forth to a successor to Mac OS X Lion in 2012.
There are rumors of iOS 6 being launched in the new year. But nothing is sure. One more product set for update is Siri. SIRI was one among a few features that really counted in iPhone 4S. Fueled by this success, Apple will obviously look forth for a technological evolution of its voice software assistant. Apple will not speak out on the issue, till the product is actually out in the market.
